Hi! 👋 I'm Owen Silva...
A lifelong Massachusetts resident, I serve on the Triton Regional School Committee , study computer science at the University of Massachusetts at Lowell , teach at Code & Circuit , and work at Ecamm writing software.
I believe that government can still achieve incredible things, and I’m passionate about efficient, transparent institutions that work for all, public transit, consumer rights and open source.
On a more personal note, I have a casual love for photography, an endless curiosity for other cultures, music (of course), and I adore a long discussion; I am always looking to grab a coffee or take a long walk. I do not, however, love AI so much .
I was prompted to start programming eight years ago by the game competition Ludum Dare, which I have now participated in over 20 times . Since then, I have worked on a
well-known VR Mod ,
contributed
to open source games, built software
featured
by Boston Dynamics, launched
a game
on Steam and released
an app.
Today, I volunteer my time with
PSR Digital working on their latest project Peer Review.
Among my accreditations are an associate degree in Computer Science from Northern Essex Community College , the Massachusetts State Seal of Biliteracy in French, and a High School Diploma.
